Wishlist #63 - Sheinside Edit

Tee | Pleated Dress | Jacket | Co-Ord
Vintage Dress | Shorts | Cat Dress

I love online stores like, but I'm always so nervous to buy online that I rarely do it. I'm always in love with half the stock, so I thought I'd share a small few of my weird and wonderful loves from the sheinside website.
After being told Disney World is happening next year, I've been excited to get some cute and funny Disney get-up for the holiday and this tee is first on my list! I think I'm determined to wear something Disney everyday, so if this doesn't fall through I'll be buying lots of funky Disney related tees!
I'm also loving cute repeated prints at the moment, and the likes of this daffy co-ord and the cat print dress are appearing in my imaginary shopping basket. I know the daffy co-ord is weird, but I still love it since it's not as OTT as you'd expect something like that. I'd definitely buy it for the price it's at!
Of course, this weird girly girl is going to be lusting over some cute floral and pastel pieces too, and recently I've been adoring white and blue dresses. I'd love either of these as a nice going out dress for evening dates or nights out. I'd also love to pick these cute floral high waisted shorts to add to my collection of shorts, because they're longer than the ones I have already as well as being really different too. I really love all these pieces... Someone want to buy me any of these!?
Have you shopped What's your views on them?

What Cat Wore: Lacy Black Dress

Necklace - eBay (I think!)
Floppy Hat - eBay
Converse -

Yesterday I was dead nervous about a work visit, and dressed to impress in my latest uniform purchase from Miss Selfridge to look my best. This dress is the perfect example of a jazzed up simple dress, with a cute and simple overlay lace hem. And with simple spaghetti straps, it's perfect for the summer. I will be honest and say I had to alter the straps and sew away a couple of inches off the length to avoid "accentuating my assets" ... Not for me thanks. I didn't want to wear my boots like I always do to work, or my Mega Topshop sandals, so I stuck with my favourite footwear and did the 'dress & converse' combo, which I think worked well. Of course I didn't wear the hat to work, but if I was to wear this outfit out, the hat would definitely be a part of it. I bought this a couple of months ago on eBay and I keep forgetting that I have it so I haven't worn it out yet. It's only about 20% of the price of one you'd get on the high street for the same amount of quality, so it was a pure bargain!
I was complimented quite a lot on my look yesterday, so I felt pretty good all day. Not only that, but my work visit went well so that added some more happy feels to my day! A lot of people asked where my necklace was from, and felt a little bad that I couldn't say where it was from or how long ago I got it. All I know is that it's a few years old and this is the first time I've worn it! I think it was from eBay but I couldn't tell you for sure!
I don't often blog my work outfits, but I liked this one! What do you think? Successful outfit?

What Cat Wore: Safari Penguins

Tee - Topshop
Joggers - Primark
Converse -

I know I've featured both of these items on my blog before, but I'm getting away from the "I can't post about this again, I've already featured it" frame of mind, and focusing on the styling of my outfits whether I've featured them before or not. I wore this outfit yesterday just for chilling with John. I'd finished early for the day since I started a lot earlier so we had a lot more time to ourselves than normal. We were really naughty and ate pizza and started watching Orange Is The New Black on Netflix. John's not too sure he likes it, but I'm already engrossed after two episodes! Don't spoil it for me though, just tell me how good it is if you're watching it. Don't you think Tyler Schilling looks like Katy Perry though!?
Anyway, I love a good looking chill outfit, and I think this is exactly one of those. I love this tee since it's so comfy and it's just too cute - I love me some clothes with animals on it and everybody knows it. I also really fancied wearing a pair of joggers, so picked out my neon safari joggers as they kind of go together with some of the colours being highlighted in my tee. I will admit, it's a bit of a mish-mash outfit but who said fashion and style is perfect!? I loved this outfit enough to share anyway. I loved the really high pony too... Kept all my hair out of the way and it was a fun look too. Maybe I'll do this more often.

Wishlist #62

Jeans | Dress | Cardigan | Skirt
Crop Top | Tank Top | Skirt
City Shorts | Worker Boots

My style of clothing and how I wear it will never change but the colour palettes do more than anything! Right now I'm loving the idea of bright blues (though I'm not a blue kinda gal) and brights greens. My hair is a small issue being red... But Ariel wore pink and blue as a walking girl and had a green tail with a purple shell bra as a mermaid so how can I say I can't wear certain colours as a red head!? Either way, I can see myself rocking the tulip skirt with a cute white logo tee or the Sahara dessert dress for an earthy boho look.
I'm really into buying lots of different bottoms since I have so many tops at the moment, and in haven't got a variety of bottoms really. I have one too many pairs of denim shorts and blue jeans, but I haven't one maxi skirt or a pair of long length shorts - I need to add some change and versatility to my wardrobe!
I'm also adoring the print on the crop top from Topshop and I NEED those worker boots. Basically timberlands with a heel.... Omg. I did want the Nirvana ones from Jeffrey Campbell but they seem so OTT and these a little more tame.... I'm still torn between the two but I need a pair of those beauties to match John ;) is that sad? Or a cute couple thing? I think I need them.... Argh!

Also, want to share my username for Depop! I'm sure you all know what Depop is but I'm selling a few pieces on there, I need to get rid of things that don't suit me anymore... But I'm sure there are loads of you lovely ladies who might fancy giving them a new home since they're still in great condition. So if you have Depop, leave your usernames below and follow me on @CatttSays! I'm buying as well as selling so make me an offer and let's shop together!

What Cat Wore: Angel Sleeves

Top - Miss Selfridge
Jeans - Topshop
Converse -

I haven't yet explained where I have been for the last week - Not that it's much of a bother but I feel I need to explain something... even if it is just for myself. I don't really know what happened to my time but it just disappeared. I've been feeling awfully tired recently and like there is time for nothing. I've also had a very busy weekend with two nights out in a row to a wedding and a BBQ and then I had work yesterday too: the day I'd normally catch up with all my blog reading and blog post ideas for the week, etc. Blogging is my escape and to know I haven't had the possibility to make time for that let alone anything else for myself recently makes me feel quite sad. But I'm planning a nice blogging night tonight, since I have finished work early, so a few scheduled posts in case I lose track again! Anyway... onto the outfit!

I wore this yesterday, and I love a cute shirt and the only issue I have is not being able to do the top button up... I feel suffocated and I think it looks weird on me. What do you think? Am I just being weird? - But I couldn't resist this amazing shirt from Miss Selfridge. I am in love with the sleeves and the cropped flowy look. I want to try wear this with my mint PU skirt for a date night too so watch out for that outfit if it works out! I wanted a smart casual look, so my trusty Joni jeans came out to play, as most weekends it does and my converse are my new favourite footwear at the moment. I just can't get over how pretty they are.... Another pair please!?
It was bloody hot though wasn't it!? I'm loving this weather and I hope it stays for Eminem in a few weeks, starting up my week off and Zoo lates to finish off that single week with some friends. I have a lot of things going on this summer... for once!

Have you got any things going on this summer? Share them with me below! It could help me with a post I'm planning on doing...!

What Cat Wore: Protest

 Tee * - Protest Clothing
Sandals * - Protest Clothing
Shorts - Miss Selfridge
Headband - Topshop

Recently Protest Clothing were lovely enough to gift me with a couple of things from their summer range, and although at first I wasn't too sure whether it would be my style or not, I thought why not... I'm always looking to discover new brands and try out new styles. I was so happy to see this cute and casual orange tee in my package along with the denim strap sandals, because they were my sort of colours and my sort of style.
I'm not much of a casually dressed person these days but sometimes you need a well-dressed casual day, and yesterday was that day, as me and John headed up to some friend's housewarming BBQ. It was hot and I'd only just recovered from a little sunburn two weeks ago so this top was cute and perfect for the ocassion! I wore it with my newet shorts (which were bought for a little extra coverage for the behind!!!) from Miss Selfridge. I love the shorts because of the cute little zip designs on the side and they're really different to most of my other denim shorts too.
I'm not much of a sandal wearer because I dislike my feet quite a lot, but I love these sandals for the design. It's definitely the sort of thing I'd pick up at a shop or online and they are so casual and comfy. They work with anything from dresses, to jeans so I'll be getting a larger amount of wear from them.
Back to the top.... I love the simple embellishment around the neckline and that I can slouch it up a little bit by throwing it off the shoulder. And the orange on orange aztec print at the front I thought was really clever, and cute too. Having red hair, I worried this would clash... But I didn't think it clashed too much, and anyway... who cares!? I loved yesterday's outfit and I love my new pieces from Protest. I'll be honest and say I didn't know them before this post, and I don't think I would have bought from them before but now that I've experienced some of their great quality product and pieces I'd probably shop on their site now! Maybe for my next bikini!

How about checking out the Protest website for yourself? Protest are boardwear focused for both summer and winter sports, but if you like casual and sporty clothing, or beach wear this will definitely be great for you. Great for casual pieces and some of the dresses and accessories are pretty nice too!

What Cat Wore: Button Up Playsuit

Dress - Car Boot Sale (!!!)
Necklace - Topshop
Shoes - Miss Selfridge
Swarovski Star Ring - Market (Tenerife
Earrings (Just Seen) - New Look

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads, Step Dads and Granddads out there. I hope you've all had a lovely day being shown how much you all mean to us! Today, I spent the day with my family today for father's day and  we all took my step dad out to TGI Friday's for lunch where we indulged in all the ribs, cocktails and buffalo wings we could and followed it up with a trip to the fair where we all had rides on the bumper cars, won teddies, and shot corks! It doesn't sound like much, but family time is a big thing for us when we get it, and days like this is probably one of the only days we get to go out and do things like this. It was lovely ♥ Of course, having two dad's, I sent my Happy Father's Day wishes over to my dad in Portugal with a little Instagram picture of us together telling him that I love him. It's all I can do being so far away...

Anyway! To the outfit! Can you believe this pretty vivid floral playsuit is from a carboot sale? Sometimes you get those people selling brand new unbranded clothes, and I was very attracted to the bright print on this playsuit. I didn't know it was a playsuit either until I went to put it on! But I was happily surprised by this! She sold me this, with another playsuit in the same style but a different print for just £5. BARGAIN.
For a playsuit like this, I could only pair it with my trusty Miss Selfridge heels I bought in the summer sale 2 years ago, and I also sported my current favourite necklace from Topshop. I really loved this outfit, and felt so pretty today. The long legs meant I was super comfortable in it too and I also got some lovely compliments from the ladies at the 'Hook A Bag' stall at the fair... They said I should be a model! "Oh stop it... *blush*"
As for nails, I recently bought some cheap nail art brushes from eBay and now I can create cute nail art! This is my first design with the brushes and I can't wait to try out more... eBay is definitely the way for nail art products! Not bad for my first design!? What should I do on my nails next?

What Cat Wore: Coelho

Tee - Topshop
Skirt * - Primark (via SwapShop)
Pink Bomber * - Matalan (via SwapShop)
Converse All Star -
Necklace - Topshop
Scrunchie (On Wrist) - New Look

Noun. Coelho - Portuguese word for 'Rabbit' (is also my middle name!!!)

I spent 10 minutes today wondering if this top needed to be tucked in or not and as you can see I decided not! I don't know what it is about tucking that I think is necessary, but it's not and I must learn that because this outfit looks cute with a midi skirt and an untucked top! Anyway...
So this is what I'm wearing today! It's been strange with the weather, but I managed to catch a good patch to take photos of this outfit. I felt like I needed a monochrome look today, thus the black and white. I'm usually so bright so this is very different for me, but popping my trusty bomber jacket made this look mine, and I just HAD to share it. It's also the most comfy outfit, with the stretchy light knitted skirt and the soft jersey tee. Topshop sometimes do the BEST soft jersey tops and you just have to get it because it feels so good on! This is one of those t-shirts.... I also realised I hadn't yet featured this dot-to-dot bunny tee on here yet, bearing in mind I've had it a while now. It's definitely one of my favourite tops in my wardrobe, and I wear it quite often. The only thing is, is that I find people urging to get a sharpie out to join the dots....
I've also had this skirt a long time and not worn until now! I've tried to wear it a few times, but never found the right way to, but I think I found a way to now.

I'm watching the England game tonight, but before that I'm dying my hair red again! My roots look pretty bad IRL, and the vividness has faded a little bit so it's an excuse! Who else is watching the England game tonight then!?

Letterbox Cake |

I was so excited when the boyfriend text me to say the letterbox cake kindly sent me had arrived, and was excited to go round the next day to try it with him. I love a good cake, so I was eager to try the letterbox cake I've heard and read all about for myself. The lovely people at Baker Days offered to send me a personalised cake, and I didn't know what to get on it exactly, apart from wanting a picture of me and John on it, so they got creative and sent me the above, in the cute cake tin below with a mini party package too!

The cake initially came in a small white box, and inside the tin protecting the cake inside, a note from Baker Days, some candles, balloons and a party whistle! For what we got, I thought it was really good! And all this for £14.99. I'm especially pleased about the tin, because I can reuse it too!

Now on to the cake...
I didn't know what my cake was going to look like before I'd received it but I was so impressed with what they did with an image and their own creativity! I instantly noticed that they'd used my blog header as inspiration for the design around the cake and I was so impressed by the colouring on the sides and my blog name printed on the cake in my own font too!
I was also very impressed by the photo quality on the cake. The quality is more than what I expected and it's been done so well. It'd definitely make a really nice personalised gift cake, especially for a birthday - a nice surprise to get that morning! There's a million cakes to choose from and it's a little yummier than a card! Take that Clinton's...

As for taste I cheekily asked for a chocolate cake and let's just say the cake disappeared in no time. The cake was exactly as you'd expect from any chocolate cake. It was fresh, moist and really chocolatey! The icing wasn't too sickly either, and I'm not really an icing kind of girl, but I'd eat this icing all day long. The cake serves 3-4 people, but here it served two! It was too yummy to share with anyone else... 10 out of 10 for cake yumminess and present-ability!

I'd definitely buy this cake again, either as a celebratory cake for an event whether it be big or small, or as a gift for someone whatever the ocassion. I think these are best for birthdays reallyl The best thing is, is they have so many designs to choose from, and comes in more sizes than just the little letterbox sized one.  Also being purely delicious helps a bunch! I think next time I'd get the sponge cake though, I'd like to see what that ones like...!
They don't just do generic cakes though... They also do cup cakes which would be great for events,  birthday parties or take home gifts! You can also personalise them too with photos or names... So versatile! I've had a great experience with Baker Days and I'm very impressed with the presentation, cake quality and design quality too. I honestly recommend them to anyone who's looking for a yummy celebration treat!

Have you tried a Baker Days cakes yet? And if not... why not!?

What Cat Wore: Pineapples

Shorts - River Island
Cami - Dorothy Perkins
Converse -
Sunglasses - F&F Tesco

I pretty much spent the entire day from 8:30 until about 5 out in the sun, leaving me with the worst tan lines in the world (including bra loop holes...doh!), and my first full on sunburnt experience (as far as I'm aware). It was a lovely day though! I spent the morning doing a car boot sale with my adorbz little sister, and then a couple of hours with my aunt and cousin at the local pub and then the evening chilling out with John. A busy day indeed!
Because it was so warm outside, I took out my absolute favourite shorts ever: pineapple shorts. John got me these for our first holiday together to Zante and forever have they been my favourite shorts for the lovely fit and amazing print. I can't buy another pair that will compare to how much I love these. I've always loved the pineapple print and it makes me so happy that pineapple print is so in now, and that I can be totally on trend with shorts I've had for about 3 years now!
I was wearing it with my peach Miss Selfridge cami in the morning but it got pretty dirty so for going out I swapped it out for my Dorothy Perkins white one! I thought it looked quite good paired with my newwwwww Converse trainers I bought from Very! I had a pretty amazing discount code that made them a bargain and a half... And they're already sold out! I've been wanting a pair for a long time, and I definitely found my perfect white pair here. They're so comfy and go with so much. I love that I know how long they will last me too... They'll definitely be worn to death like my last pair! I love me some converse... May have to get another pair. Suggestions on cool ones please!?

Also look at this cool GIF Google+ made combining all my photos I took for this post! So impressed by the smallest things....

How did you spend your Sunday? Was it super sunny and hot where you were too?

May Favourites

This may be a week late, but heyyyy it's here! My May Favourites!
I don't think all favourites have to be beauty related and though I have some beauty favourites I have more fashion and miscellaneous favourites than beauty this month and I like the way this post is looking so I hope you like it too...

Tropical Skater Dress - This month, my most favourite thing is my new tropical print Miss Selfridge skater dress that I wore last week on Sunday. It's so pretty, and so comfortable for days out, and it's the perfect length. I love a short dress, but I'm currently loving mid length dresses and skirts the most. I'll be getting tons of wear out of it this summer!
Glamorous Cleated Platforms - By far my favourite shoe addition this year. I say that... but I think I may have bought a challenger that you'll see featured on the blog VERY soon! They're huge in height, but because of that generous platform they're not steep and not killer to walk in. They look great with cute little ankle socks too which makes it a bonus for sock-loving me.
Sunglasses - I have started a small collection of them and I have more in my sights. I know we don't get much sun in Britain, but every time the sun will be out... There will be a pair of sunglasses on my face. I will admit though... One pair have come from Cosmopolitan magazine! Can you guess which ones?
Accessorize Bag - This bag is my latest and greatest bag since the Warehouse Shopper I got two Christmases ago! It's so beautiful and fits everything I could ever need inside. I'm not sure if this counts as a May Favourite though... I bought it on the 31st!
Parrot Tumbler - I've got my best drinking accessory to hand at all times now, always filled with a refreshing beverage. I love it, it's so cute and no one else in the house uses it, which is rare... I love it!
Latch Hook Kits - I've been enjoying latch hook kits this month. Very random, but my mum bought a couple and never started them, so on a super-bored evening I started one and couldn't stop. It's quite relaxing and enjoyable really, and if you follow my Instagram, you'll see I've just completed a cupcake pillow... next is this pretty bird one.

L'Oreal Skin Perfection BB Cream - Overall complete favourite. It's absolutely perfect for everyday and leaves my skin with an even tone and a natural look. I've been replacing foundation with this and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've seen my skin looking so much better the last few weeks, and I don't know how I didn't buy this before now!
Bioré Warming Anti-Blackhead Cleanser - Also to take credit for my better skin and my god has it cleansed!? I've been using this for about two weeks, and my blackheads are almost gone. I've always had trouble with my T-Zone and large pores, and this has been the god send that has helped get rid of them once and for it. It feels so warm when you first apply it, and you can really feel it working. I use it with my new Soap & Glory Face Mini Mitt, which has worked a charm with the cleanser. It may have lost a couple of bristles, but I still love it.
Seventeen Sculpting Brow Pencil - This has been a saviour to create a more natural filled eyebrow. I'm currently obsessed with eyebrow products, and this has to be my favourite right now though I have my eye on a decent brow kit or something similar. I want to also buy the Soap & Glory Archery brow pen, but I'm worried I won't like it. If you've tried it, give me your verdict! I'd love to know if I should buy it or not.
Maybelline Black Shock Gel Liner - This didn't impress me at first, and it still annoys me that it says one click and it's ready to go, although you have to click it a few times to get a decent amount of liner out of it. But the technology behind the liner pen works wonders and the silicone brush is perfect for perfect lines. The pigmentation is amazing too leaving a perfect clean black line everytime. (A pain to get off too!) A new favourite eyeliner indeed.
Seventeen Falsifeye Mascara - This mascara leaves my lashes looking huge, volumised and yes, almost false but not totally false. It's my current favourite mascara to use at the moment but it's not replaced the Maybelline Rocket Volume (which I use most weekends) as my favourite yet.

I hope you liked seeing last months favourites! What's your favourite things from last month?

Spring/Summer Fash-spiration

I've always been one for inspirational and pretty pictures, of anything from cute baby animals and fashion statements, to quote images and things that make me literally lol. And even more than that, I've always been one to save every single one of those images and become a picture saving hoarder using gigabytes of space just to have them to look at when I want to. Seeing the space it takes up and knowing that I can't have them forever, I've learnt not to do that now because luckily, we have things like and Pinterest available where I can store and look at all my favourite pretty pictures NOT on my laptop's storage space.
Today I thought I'd share with you some of my Spring Summer fashion inspirations that I've spotted on the internet with you. Something a little different, and something I would have done 4 years ago on this blog. Sometimes going back to basics is good! Enjoy...

For me right now, it's all about the braving something new, and trying new shapes and styles. I'm loving as always floral prints, pastels and brights, as well as flowy, feminine and flattering shapes. Coordinates, crops, circle skirts, white, tropical prints and anything else that reminds me of summer! I'm a summer girl through and through!

I know there's not a lot here, but I have only just joined pinterest a few months ago, and I've still not quite got the hang of it! I'm loving it though and finding lots of ideas and images to share and enjoy. It's one of my new favourite things to do when I'm bored or feeling uninspired! All images come from Pinterest and you can find them on my 'Everything Fashion' board on my Pinterest!
