What Cat Wore: Aztec Cape

Aztec Cape - Miss Selfridge
Basic Top -  Dortothy Perkins
Waffle Leggings - Miss Selfridge
Over The Knee Boots - New Look (AW13)

This Cape. Oh how I love it, It's so different to anything I've ever had in my wardrobe and now I want all the capes after falling in love with the shape and the way it sits when it's on. It feels like I'm just wearing a huge blanket!
The atzec print, ground colours and it's thick knitted material makes it perfect for the cold season. The print is so pretty with flashes of red running through and reminds me of the colours worn by American Indians in a similar print and style too! I wore it so simply on my day off with a basic red top tucked into my comfiest leggings. I don't think this cape needs much more than basics when worn. It's just such a statement piece on it's own and you can wear it simply in so many ways... I won't say how just yet as I'm sure there is a possible 3 ways to wear blog post or video coming along soon!
I've got soooo many compliments on it already and I've only worn it out once! It's been a real hit with friends, and co-workers and I'm loving it more every time I look at it. It's going to be a super-loved and much worn staple piece in my wardrobe this season!
