So I've had this dress in my wardrobe a really long time and I've been waiting for a good time to wear it. I haven't had an occasion to dress smart for, but at my new job, I need to look smart, sensible and comfortable everyday, so this M&Co number is now a great addition to my work wardrobe!
I'm loving all the dresses at the moment. Honestly! Send me over all of the dresses and I will probably wear them to work!
I wasn't 100% sure when I got this dress but slowly grew to love it. I was actually gifted it as a thank you for attending the M&Co SS15 Press Day back in January I think? But it was different to the dress I'd chosen on the day. I wasn't going to complain or say anything though, because I feel privileged and grateful to have been given anything at all especially as I enjoyed attending the Press Day and was thankful for the invite alone!
Back to the dress although - I love it. The monochrome grid print with that flash line of colour at the end looks lovely and is perfect for the coming winter. Though the shift dress fit alone doesn't suit me as much as I expected, I added a belt for a little detail and to add that waistline that I needed. I think being a short girl with a shorter body and longer legs, I needed to add that in to make it work for me. I also styled it with my favourite monochrome necklace for a little extra glam! ♥
