This month has sure been busy and if you read my last life diary post, then you'd know I was really looking forward to June. Not only has June bought blogging events and busy weekends, but it has bought friends, family meals, cinema trips and lovely chilled out weekends.
Earlier on at the start of the month, it started up a little slow. All my exciting days out started at the middle of the month so it was all anticipation for a couple of weeks. Father's Day weekend things picked up and the whole family went to the cinema for what I think was the first time ever. We always go to the cinema but separately. We've never all wanted to see the same film so it was a huge first and we went to see The Secret Life of Pets. We also had Chiquitos for dinner which wasn't the best but we made the most out of it!
The weekend after was a little more exciting with the Bloggers Ball to look forward to as well as meeting up with my new friend Isobel! Maria and I first popped into Covent Garden to meet Isobel and Sophie for lunch and had a great time talking and getting to know each other a little better before heading over to the Bloggers Ball. We didn't have much time together but it was lovely whilst we were there.
The Bloggers Ball was great! I had so much fun with it and it was lovely meeting up with all the brands and bloggers. It all passed way too quickly and next thing you know, we were on the train home. But it was definitely one of my favourite days of the month. You can read more about it here.
Just last weekend I also attended the Viking Arty Party which I will be live on my blog tomorrow! I absolutely loved this event and is probably the most fun event I've ever been to! We made block printed file holders, wrote in calligraphy and made origami cranes. It was lovely and it was especially lovely to do it with Ana! We ended up in Picadilly Circus after where we saw the Pride parade with the most amazing positive and vibrant atompshere. It was truly lovely to see London the way it was on Saturday - at it's best even after all the UK and EU stuff going on.
Also this month, I went to my first induction for my course starting in September and enjoyed some really great chilled out days with John. It's lovely to have such a great month to look back on! But I'm a little sad that it's over and I haven't got much happening in July. That said, it'll be nice to have a little less to do for a while - I need a break from the busy!
I hope you've all had a lovely month. What are you looking forward to in July? I'm looking forward to relaxing, practising some calligraphy and having some time off!
