I've been loving a lot of things this month, but the problem I had making this month's favourites post was that a lot of my favourites were ongoing from May and June. It was hard to pick five new favourites but I just about managed it! Shall we look into why the five things up there are my favourites? Okay!
Barry M Plumpy Top Coat - So I've been getting artsy on my nails a heck of a lot more than usual recently and I've been adoring this Barry M top coat to finish off all my designs. No matter how crappy my design might look, this top coat always adds a great glossy finish and salvaging them from looking rubbish! Honestly, definitely recommend this one - it's the best one I've used in a while.
Missguided Maxi Shorts - Earlier this month, I attended my friend's engagement party where I finally got to wear these dressy shorts I bought in the Missguided sale back in DECEMBER! Yup, I took these amazing things on holiday and didn't wear them and I haven't actually had anywhere nice to wear them since. I absolutely love the print on these shorts, they're super flattering and I love the maxi panels on the sides even though they drag along the floor a little bit thanks to my shortness! I got lots of compliments on them that night and I can't wait to wear them out somewhere again! It's one of those pieces of clothing you feel really great in you know? Also - I haven't posted an outfit with these on yet - would you like to see it?
Urban Decay Naked3 Palette - This palette has been in my life for nearly two years and I absolutely love it. I do forget I have it sometimes because I start obsessing over my other awesome palettes but I always return to this one for some amazing natural/rose gold make up looks. I've really been loving this palette this month and I've been loving creating some lovely metallic looks if I do say so myself! I've loved using the deeper and more metallic pigmented shades like Buzz and Trick most and my favourite blending shade Nooner.
DIY Sharpie Mugs - Earlier on this month I finally DIYed some mugs with my new Sharpies! I've had so many compliments on both of the mugs and it's been really nice if I'm honest. It's nice being told something you made is awesome or pretty or anything positive really! I decided not to bake my mugs either since 1. I'm too scared to, and 2. I won't be using them for their intended purpose, but instead as pen and pencil holders. I thought since I will be updating my desk next week, I could get some real use out of them as decorative pieces!
Pokémon Go - Oh yes, you better believe that this is one of my July Favourites! Apart from my new obsession for World of Warcraft, I've been playing Pokémon Go every opportunity I've had! I'll be honest and say I've been on more runs outside recently, I've enjoyed walks in the park and I've had a bunch more time spent with my family doing something together with everyone having downloaded it within the first week of it's release! I levelled up to Level 19 today and caught myself a Vulpix which I was so excited about! I also hatched a Growlithe too! I can't choose my favourite type of Pokémon but I feel like it's a split between the water and the fire types. My all time favourite is Vaporeon. I don't have a real reason why, but it's always been my favourite! It's actually the Pokémon I have with the highest CP too. Hehe, am I boasting too much? Okay, I'll stop.
So what's on your favourites list from July? Aslo I'd love to know what your favourite Pokémon is and what level you're on in Pokémon Go and what your best Pokemon is!
